It’s the anniversary of the Egyptian Revolution – some of the most stressful days of my life so far. Even though I have moved on in a different direction, I still watch the news of that part of the world with interest and worry…

    I think about you every time I hear Egypt in the news. I am so sorry that things are still not settled for Egyptians. How frustrating it must be to have gone through so much turmoil and anguish to find that things are not what you had hoped. But I think such a drastic change will take years to shake out.

    Oddly enough, I seemed to be the only person in my immediate company who thought the Egyptian revolution would be an agonizingly slow process to improvement. People seem to forget that it took more than a hundred years, a civil war, and a civil rights movement (among many other things) to get the US where it is today – and even now people are fighting about the right way to do things…
