It’s been snowing like crazy and bitterly cold – almost too cold to type! My new laptop arrived this week and once I figure out how it all works and get to a place with wireless, I’ll share some pictures.

I know what it’s like to have computer issues. The power supply on my PC shorted out on Thanksgiving Day, and although I had backed up a LOT of my files, I realized I didn’t have a mirror of my PC’s hard drive anywhere. I kept a minimal amount on the laptop (manuscripts, of course), but didn’t want to ‘clutter’ it. And we have a networked hard drive for backup, but there were a lot of files I didn’t think to put over there, or didn’t update all that recently. Thank goodness the hard drive on the PC came back intact. One thing I missed was my bookmarked sites.
And I’m not bragging about it being warm here. I am so sick of warm weather. I want it colder — not snow, not frigid, but not 80 degrees in December!
